One person was taken to a hospital with burns after fire broke out in a duplex in the 7900 block of Lowell Boulevard in Westminster Tuesday morning.
Westminster Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 5:48 a.m., according to a Westminster Fire release.
“The initial report from dispatch was that the fire was in the kitchen on the main floor. There was also a report that all the residents had evacuated the unit that was on fire,” according to the release.
The second unit was not involved in the fire, but the residents were also evacuated.
No other injuries were reported. A fire investigation team is investigating the blaze.
