1 House guests. Two unidentified women stole a man’s Home Depot credit card and bought more than $3,000 in merchandise while he was asleep at home in the 7200 block of Kearny Street, Commerce City. The victim met the suspects online and partied with them the night of Dec. 3. They took the card the next morning.
2 New boots. A woman was arrested at the Walmart at 9901 Grant Street, Thornton, on Nov. 29 because store security caught her trying to walk out wearing a pair of boots that she pulled off the shelves.
3 Settling a score. A man who lives in the 1600 block of West 85th Avenue, Federal Heights, reported that someone broke into his home Dec. 3 and stole his hat collection, a pair of black diamond earrings and his TV. The victim told police it was probably his friend to whom he owed money.
4 Dog fight. Police were called to the intersection of Cedar Court and Poze Boulevard, Thornton, because a woman’s dog attacked another dog Nov. 16. Both dogs had pulled their leashes from their owners’ grasps and were fighting.
5 Brotherly love. A man called police after his brother put him in a headlock and punched him several times Dec. 2. The victim found his brother using his cologne at their home in the 15500 block of East 99th Avenue, Commerce City, and confronted him. Both men started fighting and their mother had to separate them.
6 Mysterious damage. A woman woke up Dec. 5 and noticed that someone hit her car while it was parked in front of her home in the 10300 block of Zuni Street, Federal Heights.
