1Case of the mysterious cleaning crew. A resident of Hacienda Road, Evergreen, suspects that three people who cleaned her house Dec. 12 were also casing it for a burglary. She told Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies that her cleaning service needed to reschedule and assumed the three people arrived for the rescheduled service. They did their duties and took payment by check, but the cleaning company owner later said they were not her employees.

2Pants thief at rec center. Golden police took a theft report from a patron of Golden Recreation Center, 1470 10th St., whose pants were stolen from a locker while he worked out Dec. 9. The pants contained his wallet, car keys and house keys. He was advised to cancel any credit cards and change his house’s locks. Golden police received a report Dec. 10 of a pair of jeans found on the Clear Creek path containing the victim’s wallet.

3Pellet gun sharp shooeter. A person in the area of Brickyard Circle, Golden, reported on Dec. 8 that he discovered the resident of a motor home parked on his street shooting pellets in his direction. When confronted, the man pleaded ignorance. Police investigated, discovered the motor home was illegally parked and tagged it abandoned. The motor home was gone the next day.

4Missing wallet found. A woman reported to Golden Police that she thought her wallet was stolen sometime during her trip inside King Soopers, 17171 S. Golden Rd., on Dec. 9. She recounted her steps and suspected it was taken in a busy aisle. The wallet was found in the parking lot the next day.
