There’s nothing like a wood-burning fire in the fireplace — to contribute to air pollution and public health problems like asthma and other respiratory ailments.

Perhaps that’s why videos of fires burning in a fireplace are so popular this time of year.

Over at Amazon, there are no fewer available on Amazon, most of which are free to view for Amazon Prime members. The top-rated video offers “crackling” sounds.

On Netflix, its “Fireplace for your Home” video is in the streaming-video service’s “Popular” list. The company yukked it up last year, offering a with the director offering commentary. Plus, there was .

Comcast offers burning 26 for its TV customers, plus sporadic showings on channel 857 and 507 (Comcast advises to check listing times). A few versions are online, including with or without music, the holiday edition and the Scottish yule log from Lallybroch.

“It’s actually really popular, and people look forward to it every year. Definitely a crowd pleaser at parties,” Comcast spokeswoman Alexandra Ballas said, adding that the yule-log videos have “views are in the millions.”

To find it On Demand on TV, Comcast customers can go to Select On Demand, then Select the Holiday Moviethon Folder and Select Yule Log and then the More folder, which includes a new psychedelic version plus 26 other versions. There’s also a SEC version, featuring a fireplace scene with Southeastern Conference college fight songs playing in the background.

Comcast plans to offer the videos until Jan. 2.
