Norrell Moore stars in “Anything Goes,” which ends a six-week run at the Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton on Sunday. (Becky Toma, provided by the Town Hall Arts Center)

Friends invited my wife and me to take the light rail from our loft near the Denver Performing Arts Complex to their station in Littleton to see a Saturday matinee of “Anything Goes” at the Town Hall Arts Center.

The THAC is so small that I feared the quality of the production might be so amateurish that I would not enjoy one of my favorite shows. The smallness, however, provided intimacy and I was enthralled by the splendid singing, dancing and diction of the actors. The four-person band was superb as well, and all four of us applauded it and cast members after each song. Norrell Moore as Reno Sweeney got me on my feet to clap for her at the curtain call.

How wise the people of Colorado were to create the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and how generous are the backers of THAC in Littleton.
