Police in Denver are searching for a man accused in an aggravated assault on an RTD light rail train early on New Year’s Day.
The assault happened about 1:30 a.m. while the train was in the area of the 1300 block of Federal Boulevard, police said. The victim in the assault was taken to a hospital.
Authorities say the suspect fled on foot.
Police ask anyone with information on the assault to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7876.
