Remember when ‘s “Tuesday” made its way onto some pretty well respected best songs of 2014 lists? Yeah, we remember, too. We were pleasantly surprised about it.
Well, after the success of “Tuesday,” iLoveMakonnen is back with “Super Clean,” which premiered on Noisey today. The track features a synth line (and by features, we mean it’s really loud in the mix) that sounds like it should be the music It’s shimmering, and crystalline and really loud.
If you listen carefully to Makonnen’s mumbling beneath the synth, he says things like: “All my cash be super clean, make a move on any scene” and points out how funny he is.
iLoveMakonnen’s “Super Clean” comes off his upcoming EP “Drink More Water 5” (always a good suggestion, Mak). According to Noisey it was produced by Makonnen and Phantom Power.
Did you happen to catch Drake and iLoveMakonnen’s video for “Tuesday?” It features, as you would imagine, people doing normal mundane “Tuesday” activities like making toast and doing laundry. It’s pretty great.
