Police in Parker are investigating the attempted kidnapping of a girl on Monday afternoon who was able to scream and get away from a man who apparently tried to abduct her.
Officers responded to the attempted kidnapped near the area of Motsenbocker Road and Vineland Drive in the Clarke Farms Subdivsion and contacted the girl.
Police found the girl was walking alone in the area searching for one of her family’s dogs when a black, full-sized pickup truck pulled to the curb near her. The passenger reached out of the window with both arms and attempted to grab the girl, saying “come here.”
Police are looking for an unknown suspect driving in the truck, described as having a large amount of rust on the rooftop and a sticker of a skull on the rear window.
Police say they are actively investigating the attempted kidnapping and ask anyone with information to call (303) 841-9800.
