Light snow is falling in parts of the Front Range Tuesday afternoon as a weather system moves out toward the Eastern Plains.

At 3:30 p.m., the National Weather Service said light snow was falling in Boulder and was spreading east across the urban corridor. Accumulations in the Denver area should be less than one inch.

El Paso County was hit hardest Tuesday morning with freezing drizzle and fog, reducing visibility and making travel difficult.

Forecasters are calling for an overnight low of 12 degrees.

Clear weather and sunny skies are expected for the rest of the week with highs in the 40s and low 50s.
