Listen up, Denver. This weather we had yesterday, it’s unacceptable.
We’ve been reviewing yesterday’s weather here at The Den for a while now, so I know that on paper, we’ve had some lousier days than today’s yesterday.
High: 28°
Low: 22°
Review: ½â˜†â˜Ġâ˜Ġ.
But yesterday was the first day that everyone else I know who has lived in Missouri came up to me and said, “Hey this weather is like the weather in Missouri.”
That’s right, Denver weather. I’m only giving you a half a star for yesterday. Not cool, Colorado. Some of us moved here for the fabled 300 days of sun, to escape the pernicious effect of hearing phrases like “wintry mix” and “freezing fog” and “sleet and freezing rain” in our daily weather reports. These combinations of words don’t belong in the Front Range lexicon. And comparisons to the winter weather in my native state? PFff. It’s. Just. No. Look, if it happens again, I might have to … do absolutely nothing, because there’s no way I’m moving back there.
