A man accused in an Aurora road rage incident in which the window of another car was smashed and a teenager assaulted, turned himself in to police on Thursday.

Bryce Daren Bivins, 19, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and criminal mischief for the incident, which police said happened Tuesday in the area of East Hampden Avenue and South Tower Road.

According to police, detectives were able to track Bivins down by running variations of the license plate numbers that were provided by the victims through the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles. They found a vehicle that listed to an address that was only a couple of block from the scene of the crime. That led investigators to Bivins, who is being held on $50,000 bond at the Aurora Detention Center.

Police said no other arrests were expected in the case.
