A woman was sentenced Wednesday in Weld County District Court to 25 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine as part of a narcotics trafficking operation.
Donna Marceleno, 42, received a sentence enhancement becasue she involved her underaged teenage daughter in the operation, according to the 19th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Marceleno was one of five suspects indicted by a Weld County grand jury on June 13, 2014 following a lengthy wiretap investigation conducted by the Weld County Drug Task Force. Marceleno has two prior convictions for similar charges and was on parole for drug distribution when she was arrested in the present case, said officials, who added that the cases of the other four co-defendants are still pending
