SnowBall music festival, which struggled to land a permanent location during its four year run, will not return in 2015,
After facing opposition in mountain communities, SnowBall moved to the city to Denver’s Sports Authority Field at Mile High in 2014. Organizers say that the festival will take the year off to focus on creating an experience along the lines of what was envisioned in 2011.
The music festival hopes to return to the mountains, on its Facebook page Monday afternoon.
We will not be returning for 2015 as we take the time to re-group and re-focus on creating an authentic SnowBall experience — true to the roots of the event we envisioned way back in 2011.
While we’re bummed to not be back for 2015, we’re already extremely excited about where we’re headed — back to the Colorado Mountains where the dream began [and where it will live on forever].
Thank you for your support and understanding. We’ll see you in the mountains March 2016!
