Police in Fort Collins arrested a man Tuesday morning shortly after they say he robbed a convenience store of cash and cigarettes.
Devyn Townsend, 19, is being held at the Larimer County jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
Police say Townsend was wearing a mask when he robbed the Western Convenience store on the 1110 block of West Drake Road. Responding officers began investigating and deployed a K-9.
The dog alerted police to vehicle down the block from the convenience store where Townsend was sitting inside.
“Evidence from the West Drake Convenience Store robbery was located inside the vehicle with Mr. Townsend,” police said.
