A Denver police cruiser was involved in a crash with an SUV early Tuesday morning near the state Captiol.
The impact was so powerful the SUV flipped over and landed on its roof. The wreck happened near Lincoln Street and East 14th Avenue just before 1 a.m.
The driver of the SUV is OK and the officer involved was taken to the hospital just as a precaution, according to the Denver Police Department.
