Never a band to cut the night short, a three-song encore ended with what seemed like a never-ending “Recreational Chemistry.” Though the song featured some of the loosest jamming of the night, guitarist Al Schnier soloed to exhaustion on a white Travis Bean guitar formerly played by Jerry Garcia. He left the middle-aged crowd eager for night three as they exited the theater sporting sweaty tie-dyes and smiles.
