
A Fountain man already in custody on unrelated charges was re-arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree arson in connection with the death of Larissa Gabriella Tiffany-Schiess earlier this month.
According to Fountain police, Thomas Lee Turley, 29, had been arrested on Feb. 5 and was being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. When an investigation revealed his connection to Tiffany-Schiess’ death, Turley was re-arrested and charged in the case.
of Tiffany-Schiess, 27, was found on Feb. 4 when officials responded to a home in the 900 block of Candlestar Loop South in Fountain to investigate a fire and suspicious death.
Tiffany-Schiess’ car was found in Pueblo the following day.
Turley will be held without bond pending his first court appearance.
