The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has named a suspect in a stabbing that took place after what officials called a possible road rage incident.
Lewis Kelly III, 62, is being held on charges of first-degree criminal attempted murder and first-degree assault.
Lewis and an unidentified driver left an access road and went into a parking lot near 17200 E. Smoky Hill Road at about 12:56 p.m. on Feb. 13, deputies said.
Police say the two men became involved in a physical altercation, with Kelly stabbing the other driver.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
