Anybody who has shopped the tight market for low-maintenance ranch plans around Denver knows that sales price is important – but so is the cost of ongoing maintenance services for mowing, raking, and shoveling snow. Whether you head that way, or like the idea of creating a place from scratch using KB Home’s ‘Built-to-Order’ approach, Carpenter says that buyers need to be planning ahead now, in a market where nearby resales are selling very fast, and competing older ranches often set off bidding wars.
