After making his r in January, Sam Smith will return to the state this summer a changed man.
He’ll be taking the stage at the bigger Red Rocks Amphitheatre as a four-time Grammy winner, having taken home trophies for best new artist, record of the year, song of the year and best pop album.
Smith plays Red Rocks on Aug. 4. Tickets go on sale at noon on Feb. 27 and cost $49.95 – $85.
Smith made a polished debut in Colorado on the same day news broke that he would share credit on “Stay With Me” with Tom Petty and his songwriting partner, Jeff Lynne.

This crowd was all-too-happy to stand, dance, sing and light up the darkness with a constellation of glowing “cellies” during show’s emotional highs. Besides Smith’s “Stay With Me” finale, audience favorites included “Money on My Mind,” “Lay Me Down,” and “Good Thing.”
