1 Someone’s stealing the paper. A man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Feb. 11 after someone three times stole his newspaper in the 4400 block of South Van Gordon Way in the Littleton area
. The man told deputies he first thought the papers just weren’t delivered, but saw a marking in the snow where the paper had landed and footprints walking away. He planned to get up early to catch the thief in the act.

2 Open space bathroom vandalized. On Feb. 14, deputies were sent to South Valley Park, 90 South Valley Road, Ken-Caryl, after a bathroom was vandalized. The side of the bathroom had been shot up with paintballs, and the toilet had been damaged by fireworks.

3 Woman suspects ex of theft. A woman called deputies on Feb. 9 after she suspected theft of some receipts from her home in the 6100 block of West Fremont Drive, Columbine (Littleton). The woman suspected her ex-boyfriend had made a copy of her house key.

4 House window shot with BB gun. On Feb. 10, a woman called deputies to report a window had been shot out at her home in the 12000 block of Vail Pass, Ken-Caryl.

5 Woman reports job scam. On Feb. 13, a woman called deputies to report a fraud attempt concerning a job she got on Craigs-list. A deputy responded to the 6400 block of South Beech Circle in the Littleton area, where the woman said she was asked by the employer to provide photos of her driver’s license and bank account number. She then had money deposited into her account, but was to send some elsewhere. The deputy said this is a scam and advised her to close the account.
