Arrow Electronics, a Centennial-based distributor of electronic components and services, said Monday it would acquire immixGroup for an undisclosed price.
Based in McLean, Va., immixGroup works with 250 technology suppliers and 800 other companies who offer IT services to a mostly government clientele.
Arrow said in a statement it valued immixGroup’s public-sector expertise.
The acquisition is expected to close during the second quarter of 2015, pending regulatory approval.
While no purchase price was given, Arrow announced last week that it planned to raise $700 million in a public bond offering to refinance debt coming due in November, as well as for other general corporate purposes.
ImmixGroup, was part of Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 last year, landing at No. . Its revenues had grown 63 percent in three years to $920.3 million in 2013.
ImmixGroup employs about 260 people, Arrow said.
Last month, Arrow reported net income of $498 million on higher sales of $6.4 billion during 2014.
A year earlier, the technology distributor posted net income of $399.4 million on revenues of $6.2 billion.
Arrow employs 17,000 people worldwide, including about 1,500 in the Denver area.
