Artist Michael Grab balances rocks into seemingly impossible formations in Boulder creek and around the world as a meditative practice. (Lindsay Pierce, The Denver Post)
Re: “Boulder rock artist Michael Grab is making the impossible possible,” Feb. 26 Colorado Style story.
I enjoyed the article about Boulder artist Michael Grab. Thatap a great name for what he does. But I found it odd that the article didn’t mention Andy Goldsworthy, who has been a balancing actor and site-specific sculptor for decades.
The documentary “Rivers and Tides” is on my list of top 100 films. It shows Goldsworthy creating beautiful and ephemeral sculptures out of available, on-site materials, like stones and ice and branches and leaves.
