1 Woman attacks with ketchup bottle, crowbar. A restraining order didn’t prevent a woman from drinking then pummeling her boyfriend with a ketchup bottle and dog leash. She then hit him in his head with an electrical power strip when he tried to flee his home in the 7400 block of West 84th Way, Arvada, on Feb. 14. After a flurry of punches, she picked up a crowbar and berated the man, who told police she wasn’t really going to him him with it. The woman was arrested on multiple charges.

2 Violence ruins tea time. Police arrested a man Feb. 17 in the 6100 block of Carr Street in Arvada for fighting with his wife and throwing her phone against the wall after she refused to make tea.

3 Illegal brass knuckles leads to arrest. Police contacted two people sitting in a car Feb. 14 at 6000 Pomona Drive in Arvada. The driver was arrested for possessing illegal brass knuckles.

4 Drunk woman in denial. A woman who registered a blood-alcohol content level of 0.198 was arrested Feb. 13 in the 5300 block of Carr Street in Arvada on a warrant. Police were called after she argued with her boyfriend when he said she drank too much.

5 Man lies to police, is arrested. An intoxicated man in the 6700 block of West 51st Avenue, Arvada, with blood on his head and right hand told police on Feb. 15 that his injuries came from head butting and punching a wall to distract his sister from arguing with her boyfriend. He was arrested after giving police a false name.
