I love ice cream, even when it’s snowing hard outside. I know I’m not the only one, and I’m sure lots of ice cream fans will be lining up on Wednesday, when Fat Jack’s Supersubs will give away 1,000 pints of Little Man Ice Cream. Buy a sub and you get a free pint.
It happens on March 4, in all five Fat Jack’s stores, a way of celebrating its new partnership with the homemade ice cream company.
The one-stop idea, subs and ice cream, came organically.
Fat Jack’s employees in the LoHi location became obsessed with the delicious flavors of Little Man Ice Cream, located right down the street.
They thought it would be fun to offer some of the most popular ice creams — including Space Junkie, 16th Street Chocolate and Salted Oreo — with their BLTs and roast beef sandwiches.
The savvy partnership means that people don’t have to drive over to LoHi to get some Little Man, although itap always fun to grab ice cream from that 14,000 pound cream can that soars 28 feet overhead.
