Spring Jam in Aspen
The 15th annual Spring Jam in Aspen and Snowmass lasts until March 29. The festival includes slopeside competitions like the KickAspen Big Air Invitational on March 20 and the Banked Slalom at Snowmass on March 21, plus ongoing mountainside pop-up parties and live concerts.
Film in Vail
The 2015 Vail Film Festival is March 26-29. Enjoy parties, filmmaker panel discussions and receptions, award ceremonies and independent films of all different genres over four days. Festival passes begin at $70. Tickets for individual films are $10.
Wines, beers and bites
Fort Collins’ Winefest is March 27. In its 33rd year, a $65 general-admission ticket gets you tastes of more than 500 wines and beers, along with bites and desserts from local restaurants and caterers, live entertainment, a silent auction and a souvenir wine glass.
Ride the Bunny Express
Hop aboard the Bunny Express train at the Colorado Railroad Museum on April 4. Enjoy Easter treats for the family and experience what it was like to travel by train 100 years ago. $15 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 and older and $5 for kids. Children under 2 are free. Museum open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., train rides 10 a.m-4 p.m.
