Aurora police are investigating a shooting at a Target store at 14200 E. Ellsworth Ave., the department said Tuesday night on its Twitter feed.

Officials said a 16-year-old girl and a dog were shot, both suffering non-life-threatening injuries, in the incident. Robbery appears to be the motive.

Police said at 9:40 p.m. they were on the lookout for three to four Hispanic male suspects who left the scene in a white, older model car.
