Police in Denver arrested 47 people suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol during a five-day enforcement saturation period centered around St. Patrick’s Day.
The enforcement lasted from Friday through Tuesday, authorities said.
Another three people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, according to police.
The saturated patrols were part of increased enforcement throughout the state.
