One person is dead after fire broke out in the basement of a home in the 9700 block of Teller Court, according to Westminster police.
A passerby noticed smoke coming from the home at 10:03 a.m., Thursday, according to a media release.
Responders found a woman’s body in the basement.
The Jefferson County Coroner hasn’t yet identified the victim.
The case is under investigation.
