1 Wanted man hides in portable toilet. Officers waiting to meet people with information on a burglary March 10 at Gold Strike Park, 5480 W. 56th Ave., Arvada, knocked on the door of a portable toilet in the park. A man’s voice yelled that it was occupied. Thirty minutes later, the man hadn’t left the bathroom and told officers he was still defecating. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged for giving a false name.
2 Urinating man vomits in front of cop. A man caught urinating in front of a closed shop in the 7500 block of Grandview Avenue in Arvada on March 7 told police he really had to go to the bathroom before vomiting in front of them. He was issued a summons and taken to detox.
3 Sleeping man pummeled. An intoxicated woman began pummeling her sleeping boyfriend whom she accused of cheating March 5 in the 4900 block of West 62nd Avenue in Arvada. The man sustained a bloody nose and the woman was arrested.
4 Domestic violence erupts at library. A man angry about a breakup punched out a window of the car his girlfriend had locked herself in March 8 at Standley Lake Library, 8485 Kipling St., Arvada. She suffered facial lacerations and swelling when he put her in a headlock and began punching her. He was found and arrested a few hours later.
5 Drunken man claims he’s a pariah. A driver screamed at police that he was a pariah and they were trying to kill him after being arrested for suspected drunken driving near West 88th Avenue and Harlan Street in Arvada on March 5.
