The Denver Medical Examiner on Wednesday identified a woman who was shot and killed on Tuesday night.
Rachel Aboytes, 21, near the intersection of 16th and Valentia streets in East Denver, one block north of East Colfax Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.
She was taken to Denver Health and declared dead. An autopsy confirmed that Aboytes died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Another woman was also shot about a block away, with police saying she was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. She has not yet been identified.
