Two Longmont brewers have expanded distribution agreements that will put Oskar Blues beers in southern Louisiana in April and Left Hand beers in Southern California this spring.

“Our brewery and fan base has been looking forward to this for many years,” said Chris Lennert, Left Hand Brewing’s vice president of operations. “There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t get a phone call, an e-mail, a tweet asking when they can find Left Hand in California. It’s been a long time coming.”

Left Hand will distribute brews in the San Diego, Orange County and greater Los Angeles markets. Coming off a recent expansion into New England, Left Hand now is sold in 34 states.

Oskar Blues now will be sold in 42 states, the District of Columbia and three foreign countries.

“With their affinity for good down-home Southern food and music, the Oskar Blues brands will be a perfect complement to the ever-growing Louisiana craft beer industry,” Bubba Moffett, president of Crescent Crown Distributing, said in a news release.
