A suspect was arrested Sunday in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday night at 26th Avenue and Welton Street.
Larry Roberts, 67, was taken into custody and being held in investigation of first-degree murder, Denver police said on its Twitter feed.
A police spokesman said Sunday that Roberts was among a group of people at a gathering at a residence. After an argument ensued, Roberts is alleged to have produced a gun and shot the victim.
Roberts fled the scene, but was arrested Sunday at 26th Avenue and Race Street.
The victim in the shooting has not been identified; police said the investigation is on-going.
