, including a Week 1 tilt against the Seattle Seahawks at Century Link field.

The Broncos will journey to Houston to face the Texans in Week 2 of the preseason. That game will be followed by two home games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals in Weeks 3 and 4.

The Sports Show’s Troy Renck and Woody Paige discussed the announcement with The Denver Post’s Dan Petty on Thursday.

Renck, Petty and Paige discussed the fact that the Broncos have history with few of the teams on the preseason schedule.

The Arizona Cardinals were undefeated last year prior to facing the Broncos in Week 5. After Denver handed Arizona a 41-20 loss, Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians complained that a chop block that took out the team’s defensive lineman Calais Campbell was “the dirtiest play” he’d ever seen.

Of course the Broncos are well acquainted with the Seahawks after Seattle beat Denver in Super Bowl XLVIII and in Week 3 of the regular season last year. The Broncos and Sehawks have quite the history in the preseason as well. The Broncos have played the Seahawks 12 times in the preseason, winning nine of those matchups.

Also, there was some bad blood brewing between the Broncos and the Texans last preseason. Peyton Manning got the first fine of his career after he taunted Texans safety D.J. Swearinger after scoring a touchdown. Swearinger gave Wes Welker a concussion earlier in the game.
