On Friday, 23 former RadioShack stores in Colorado will become co-branded Sprint-RadioShack shops.
New signs may not appear immediately, but there will be evidence the stores are different from regular Sprint outlets.
One-third of the space will be dedicated to Sprint products. The rest to electronics, though actual inventory is unknown.
Former RadioShack stores getting converted are in Durango, Evergreen, Lakewood, Arvada, Fort Collins, Golden, Denver, Loveland, Greeley, Cañon City, Montrose, Thornton, Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs, Centennial, Fountain, Aurora and Brighton. See locations online at .
Sprint picked up 1,435 new stores when RadioShack in February.
While specifics about the look and inventory were unavailable Thursday, one thing is certain: The stores will sell only Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile products.
Sprint also needs 55 sales associates to work in those stores and is taking applications at .
