Getting your player ready...

The Denver Nuggets are looking to make some changes with the lackluster 2014-15 season coming to a close. The Denver Post’s Christopher Dempsey expects the Nuggets will hire a coach that will return the team to the fast-paced, high-octane offense fans are used to seeing.

But what will happen to the roster? Many analysts on The Sports Show have suggested the Nuggets “blow the whole thing up” and introduce major changes to the roster. Even. Who should the Nuggets keep though? Ty Lawson? Danilo Gallinari? The “Maninmal” Faried himself?

Dempsey appeared on The Sports Show to discuss the matter with Woody Paige.

Dempsey thinks Faried will return, given that the team is expected to get back to up-tempo basketball. Faried has turned his game around since Brian Shaw was fired and it shows that he simply did not fit in Shaw’s scheme (nor did he want to), Dempsey said.

Dempsey doesn’t know if Lawson will be back because the Nuggets may be interested in trading him before the draft.

“I think eventually we’ll see Ty probably moved on as the Nuggets try and trade him for a better spot,” Dempsey said.
