Fire officials began paging out structure-protection crews shortly after noon Monday as the 213 Fire along La Posta Road began to burn with more intensity.
The fire jumped the containment line.
Residents are being asked to voluntarily evacuate as a precaution. No homes have burned, but 24 homeowners were asked to leave their homes Sunday afternoon.
