In honor of Colorado’s highest holiday, played the first of its two shows honoring legalized recreational marijuana at midnight on Monday, April 20 at the . Later in the day, the stoner metal outfit heads to Seattle for a 4/20 celebration in Washington. It’s a busy schedule for what’s supposed to be the chillest day of the year, but the godfathers of stoner metal need to work at keeping their title. As was expected, Sleep played through passages from its aptly titled 2003 album “Dopesmoker.” and opened the show.
