Arvada police on Wednesday identified two individuals involved in a Tuesday shooting.
Officials said police received a call at approximately 1:30 p.m from LaVern Thibodeaux, 54, saying she had shot 34-year-old Eddie Goodwin.
Goodwin, officials said, was a houseguest at Thibodeaux’s home, located in the 6800 block of Simms Court.
Officers arrived to find Thibodeaux outside, with Goodwin, wounded, inside the home. He was transported to a hospital in serious condition. Officials said Goodwin is expected to survive.
Thibodeaux is being held at the Jefferson County Jail for investigation of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. The investigation is ongoing.
