Arvada Police on Wednesday identified two individuals involved in a Tuesday shooting.
Officials said police received a call at approximately 1:30 p.m from LaVern Thibodeaux, 54, saying she had shot 34-year-old Eddie Goodwin.
Goodwin, officials said, was at houseguest at Thibodeaux’s home, located in the 6800 block of Simms Court.
Officers arrived to find Thibodeaux outside with Goodwin, wounded, inside the home. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Officials said Goodwin is expected to survive.
Thibodeaux is being held at the Jefferson County Jail for investigation of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. The investigation is ongoing.
