In this week’s video tutorial with Denver Post gardening coach Betty Cahill, Cahill talks to David Ingram, a consulting rosarian with the American Rose Society and a member of the Denver Rose Society. Ingram teaches us why, when and how to prune roses. This spring, many rose plants are displaying a lot more damage from last year’s freeze. Ingram and Cahill say it is important to remove the dead canes to make room for new growth.
