Pretty nice Monday for Pomona sophomore offensive linemen Jake Moretti — he was offered by National Champion Ohio State, UCLA and Nebraska.
His Monday was probably better than yours.
“When you get offered by the National Champion, that’s pretty good as a sophomore in high school,” Panthers coach Jay Madden said.
The coach of the Class 5A Panthers in Jefferson County said Moretti will visit all three this summer and attend two of their camps.
“He’s 6-foot-5, weighs 285 pounds and has a 4.3 grade-point average,” Madden said. “That’s ridiculous.”
And as for making a decision, Madden said “I don’t think he’ll be a guy who waits until he’s a senior.”
