Liken opened the restaurant in 2004, when she was 27, and itap become one of the most popular restaurants in the state — people like Michelle Obama have eaten there, along with country music star Toby Keith. “Bon Appetit” magazine named Liken as one of the “Next Generation of Women Chefs,” and she’s been featured on such shows as “Iron Chef America” and “Top Chef.” Last year, she won .

She plans to continue doing what she does best.

“I have no intention of getting out of the hospitality business,” she said. “My expertise is in restaurant side, and I’m pretty much sure you’ll see me in Colorado in the future. I love creating an authentic experience for people.”
