A Parker boy charged in a single-vehicle — all three from the same high school — last September will be tried as an adult, prosecutors said Monday.

Marshal Gregory, who was 17 years old when the crash happened, is accused of driving a Mini Cooper carrying the four teens through a stop sign at about 80 mph through a 40 mph zone.

Investigators say the convertible went airborne three times, struck a fence, rotated, pinballed through a set of trees and dropped down an embankment before coming to a rest, according to a Colorado State Patrol report.

The crash hurled 17-year-old back-seat passenger Beau Begier, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, through the car’s convertible roof, killing him, according to the patrol. In the back seat, 18-year-old Ryan Pappas was also dead.

In the front passenger seat, Mitchell Clark, who was 17 years old at the time, was seriously injured.

All three were students at Palmer Ridge High School.

Gregory, who The Gazette reported had before the wreck recently transferred from Palmer Ridge to a Parker high school, was the only one in the car who wasn’t killed or severely injured.

The patrol says Gregory was under the influence of alcohol.

, as the teens traveled east across Roller Coaster Road onto Hodgen Road.
