On this sunny Monday morning, free cups of solar-powered Joe will be poured in downtown Denver.
In advance of Wednesday’s , officials for the and Denver-based are doling out free cups of coffee from 10 a.m. to noon today at Union Station, off 16th and Market streets. Scott Prestidge, energy industry director for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp. will be on hand to provide information about the expo, which is open to the public.
The free expo is expected to attract between 3,000 and 5,000 people and feature exhibits by dozens of Colorado firms and panel discussions about the trends, policies and technologies in the energy industry.

The Colorado Energy Expo is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the United Club Level East and West Lounge at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, 1701 Bryant St.
