A week after Ted Wells’ report on the New England Patriots found that team personnel and quarterback Tom Brady were “probably” aware of the team’s use of deflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game against the Colts, , fined the team $1 million and stripped it of its 2016 first-round draft pick and 2017 fourth-round pick.
The Patriots will be without Brady against Pittsburgh, at Buffalo, at home against Jacksonville and at Dallas. Ironically enough, his first game back will be at Indianapolis, on Oct. 18.
