
1 Man pummeled with frozen dinner. Fed up with hours of her drunk boyfriend calling her vulgar names and accusing her of cheating, a woman picked up a frozen Salisbury steak dinner and slapped him across the face with it April 26 in the 5300 block of Everett Street in Arvada. She followed the attack with a barrage of punches and was arrested for domestic violence.
2 Lucky the dog survives attack. Two pit bulls escaped from an apartment in the 7600 block of West 68th Avenue in Arvada on April 18 and attacked a schnauzer named Lucky. Lucky survived, and the dog’s owner was issued an aggressive dog summons.
3 Bar brawl spills into street. An all-out brawl involving about a half-dozen people, the threatened use of weapons, a sucker punch that knocked someone out cold, a bouncer getting kicked in the face and a woman receiving a bloody lip broke out April 25 at Cheapskates Sports Bar, 7501 Grandview Ave., Arvada. A summons for assault was issued to one of the participants.
4 Car crash ends egging spree. Two juveniles throwing eggs at other vehicles as they drove a black Mitsubishi Eclipse near the area of West 72nd Drive and Beech Street, Arvada, were issued a summons and picked up by their parents April 25 after running over two stop signs and crashing into a yard to escape one of the egging victims.
5 Terrible tenant returns. A former tenant of a home in the 8600 block of West 62nd Place, Arvada, broke into the empty house April 29 to smoke marijuana with a friend. The pot-smoking duo were issued a four-charge summons.
