Saturday-Sunday The nonprofit Highlands Ranch Concert Band, a traditional-minded group of volunteer players, is always family-friendly in its programming. But its 10th annual Music Arts Festival is particularly broad in its appeal, featuring patriotic music, showtunes, movie themes and classics from ensembles around the metro area, including John Philip Sousa Band of Colorado, Blues 88, Golden Eagle Concert Band, Flatirons Jazz Orchestra, Thornton Community Band, the Colorado VFW Band and others. Two dozen local arts-and-crafts vendors, and food vendors from pizza and noodle-makers to frozen treat-peddlers, round out the offerings.
