UPDATE: Action Bronson will not be performing at Red Rock’s Halloween at the Rocks on Saturday. California hip-hop duo the Grouch & Eligh will perform in his place.
From an AEG press release: “Due to a medical emergency Action Bronson cannot perform at the sold out Halloween Mac Miller concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Grouch & Eligh will perform instead. Action is expected to make a full recovery and appreciates everyone’s understanding.”
Bronson has taken to Twitter to reassure fans that he’s doing fine:
Thank u to everybody for the well wishes. Make sure u take care of ur health first.

I'll be back stronger than ever, trust me.

Rapper was hospitalized in Alaska for what he said was “emergency surgery.”
Action is scheduled to perform at Red Rocks in Colorado on 10/31 as part of the venue’s event, featuring Mac Miller, Torey Lanez, Flatbush Zombies, GoldLink and more. The “Easy Rider” star didn’t elaborate on the surgery and there’s been no word on what this means for the status of his Halloween set. We’ve reached out to a representative in Bronson’s camp and will update this space as we get more info.
Earlier in October, Action had to leave the stage for “medical reasons” in Trondheim, Norway’s UKA Festival but again tweeted he was “all good.”
