Police in Colorado Springs are searching for a man who robbed a Boost Mobile store at gunpoint on Tuesday afternoon before fleeing in a taxi.
The robbery happened at about 1:15 p.m. on the 1800 block of South Academy Boulevard, authorities say. The suspect brandished a handgun and took several phones during the heist, police said.
Witnesses told police the man was seen leaving the area in a Yellow Cab taxi and the company reported he was dropped off nearby.
Officials did not release further information in the case.
